'tis the season
Come into my life, regress into a dream, we will hide. Build a new reality, draw another picture of the life you could have had, follow your instincts....and choose the other path. -Muse, Hoodoo
Hello everyone, I say....it's been a long time hasn't it?
Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner/Donder, Blitzen, and Rudolph. I recall some of us trying to work out the names of the reindeer 2 nights ago at Roger's. Apparently Rudolf is not an original reindeer but got accepted after that song about his red nose.
(How funny were Ben's stories??!?!?! :D)
My lizard friend from Penang was down the past 2 weeks, had a lot of fun showing her around. Many adventures, many stories. The most exciting was regarding fishing. Will probably post some pics up soon. I love Sydney!!! (And miss it...) I'm back in Penang now, very good to see the parents and dogs - I told V the other day... Being home is like being warped back in to another world of the past. I just wish I could somehow combine both worlds.
Pluto has gotten fatter. And I think he's prone to a heart attack soon - he wheezes, is as unfit as your typical American and his favourite food is popcorn and pork lard bits. Not that I feed him that kind of stuff.....
It's weird, but I don't think the fact that I've finally completed my degree and will be graduating has sunk in yet. Or maybe it has and it's not as big a deal to me as I thought It would be. For our funky pre and post-final project shots, visit Steve's blog and his 'We're F*cking Finished' Project Photos at--- Schlinky. I calculated and I missed out on Honours Div 1 by 0.2. I knew I shouldn't have pissed off all those tutors... :)
Guys, it's been a good 6 years. All those golden moments... like that time Faz yelled "fucccck!!" just when the whole lecture hall went silent or when we had to split up to 4 different corners of the table during Ainslie's tutorial coz we were mucking around too much or when Martin got drunk and ended up sleeping on Clara's stovetop or when we used to frequent the Randwick foodcourt after a 2nd year lecture just for their divine honey chicken. Too many good times....
Perhaps that's why I'm choosing to prolong my uni life with a Masters in Design at COFA. Not that it'll be quite the same without you guys....
(But the main reason being that I love designing but am sick of buildings...)
I have a lot more to say... but I'm off to coach my little cousins badminton so I'll leave it for now and post up some Seasonal Cartoons (that Phil sent... thanks dude, they're fuh-ney!)
Have a merry end-of-year-long-holidays-with-lots-of-happy-lights-and-big-turkey-dinners to everyone if I don't post before that... I should, but just in case...... ;)
Miss all you far-away people who matter & looking fwd to catching up with the Pg-kias...
