The wind beneath my bubbles
*draft entry from Monday night*
It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine. - REM, It's The End Of The World As We Know It
I have a confession to make. I understand why people are pissed that Australia didn't make it, but I think getting that far was an impressive feat in itself. Wasn't Italy still the better team? Don't referees make bad judgements all the time? So...err....I really feel ok about the whole thing. Sorry.
Haven't blogged for a long long time.
Lotsa goodstuff happening...
We're done with I.W!!! Final semester at uni and we'll be scott free and ready to leap in to the real world of full-time exposure to cranky professional architects.

Exhibition on Friday night was fun...although I don't remember much. And then Clara sent that video of me crouching in front of her bubble machine singing 'you are the wind beneath my bubbles'... and for ONCE... Faz looked embarrassed to be in my presence. I must really have had too much to drink..
(Stevie, you were missed!)

Watched Cars and Over the Hedge. Cars was pretty good. Over the Hedge had cute characters albeit being very corny and cheesy. (think big cheesey corn nachos... which was what it was basically about.)
Going skiing next week!!! Bend Ze Knees!! And beware of ze yellow snow!!!
The great thing about being in the Southern Hemisphere is ski fanatics can ski in July, and take off up North for a long end of year holiday to ski again...
In other words, we get to go skiing when the rest of the world is simmering in Summer.
I'm going to be back in my lovely hometown of asam laksa in 2 weeks time!! And am asscited about that too. Hopefully will get the chance to meet up with some kakis while I'm back...
Other random thoughts:
- Why was Harry Kewell in crutches?!
- I miss Pluto.
- Did you know that flamingos live up to 80 years?
- I got a 4-of a kind last night!
- I really like the Brazillian team. Only because they play damn good football and are such fun to watch.
Happy holidays to my fellow unimates.

I quote (loosely), from somebody...
...any self respecting referee would've given it the benefit of the doubt and let it played on...
Who knows what would've happened at extra time?
But having said that, I'm glad we went thus far.
just look at the kiwi! He's turning into those bloody roos!
Watching the Italy v Germany game now (half time). Not very exciting. But Cannavaro's hot at least. Hector's snoring beside me and North Korea just fired a missle into the Japan Sea.
I miss you guys! The exhibition looked dandy!
Simmering Steve
